As Blue Peter celebrate their 5000th episode, BBC Radio Berkshire's Sarah Walker hears from Janet Ellis as she remembers her time on the show. Janet was a presenter on the programme in the mid 1980s. Janet Ellis: [On breaking her pelvis while filming] "I was training for a display with the RAF Falcons, and it wasn't filmed. I fell out of a plane and I landed fine...but actually there was a stone on the ground and it was an impact fracture. [On being a part of the programme] "Anyone who knew me would know I wasn't sporty, I wasn't daredevil at all, but I think that's what the programme wanted. The spirit was, have a go. "I was a 28 year old woman, I was married with a child, I didn't have to jump out of a plane, but they love to go against the norm. They gave me the chance to do it."
