Long Interview: Dougie Maclean

Good Morning Scotland

Available for over a year

Celtic Connections - the annual winter music festival in Glasgow is well underway. Now in its 25th year it attracts musicians from around the world and has changed perceptions of traditional Celtic music. A regular at the festival, Dougie Maclean, is marking an anniversary of his own - the 40th anniversary of his debut solo album Caledonia - the title track of which has become something of an unofficial Scottish anthem. BBC Scotland arts correspondent Pauline McLean met him at the festival to talk about his career and the single that has, for many, defined it.
