Windsor's links to the Royal Collection

Sarah Walker

Available for over a year

A new BBC television show is bringing to life Windsor's links to the monarchy's royal treasures. BBC Radio Berkshire's Sarah Walker found out more from Kathryn Jones, the Senior Curator of Decorative Arts at the Royal Collection. Kathryn Jones, Senior Curator of Decorative Arts: "It (Windsor) is one of the core places where the collection is on display daily at Windsor castle, so it is an amazing place to visit... an amazing collection of art. "There are a couple of paintings associated with Henry VIII, but perhaps most recognisable is this amazing suit of armor. "One of the important things that the programme brings out is how the personal tastes of the monarchs have shaped the collection."
