Black women face increased risk from pregancy complications

Black women are about three to four times more likely to die of pregnancy or delivery complications than white women according to statistics from the United States. It is still not clear why this the case and why black women are more affected by this than women of other races. Daghni Rajasingam is from the UK based Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists - and speaks to UK Black's Devon Daley about the issue in this interview
