Reporter’s Notebook: Denis Murray

Good Morning Scotland

Available for over a year

It’s a year since the Northern Ireland Assembly collapsed. The plug was pulled by Sinn Fein, ostensibly over a botched renewable heating scheme, but also because of much more deep-seated differences with their Democratic Unionist Party coalition partners. The Assembly has remained suspended ever since; and there're huge question marks over its future. In this week's Reporter's Notebook, Denis Murray, formerly the BBC's Ireland correspondent, reflects on the most tumultuous political 12 months at Stormont in a decade.
