North Korea offers cheerleaders for Winter Olympics

North and South Korea have agreed send a joint women's ice hockey team to the 2018 Winter Olympics, and to march together at the games' opening ceremony. North Korea, has also offered to send a troupe of 230 cheerleaders to the games. But why have they done it?
