Concern over Lloyds bank closures

Stephen Foster

Available for over a year

Three north Suffolk towns are to lose their branches of Lloyds Bank. The company has announced closures in Bungay, Halesworth and Southwold. Lloyds says it has taken the decision because more people are using digital and mobile banking. However, Stuart Hallett, from the Federation of Small Businesses, says that is little compensation to shopkeepers who deal in cash.
