Mark Sweeney from Motherwell has been paralysed from the waist down since he was eleven, following years of brain and spinal surgery after being born with a spinal condition. Now 18, his one chance of walking again could come using a bionic suit which costs eighty thousand pounds. He’s hoping to become the first person in Scotland to be helped by one.
