Both music megastar Mary J Blige and award winning actress Carey Mulligan star together in a new film called Mudbound. The movie tells the story of two families - one black, one white - trying to function as farmers deep in the Mississippi delta. The story is set in the 1940's and a son from each of the families returns damaged from the Second World War. Mary J Blige and Carey Mulligan star as the men's mothers. They join Jenni to talk about women in the film industry and America's current racial and political climate.
