Brooklands Museum's re-engineering project

Prince Michael of Kent is to open a new aircraft factory and flight shed at Brooklands Museum in Surrey - the final part of a £8.4m redevelopment. It has been relocated from part of the racetrack which had not seen action since 1940. The track has been restored to how it looked when the circuit in Weybridge was in its heyday. The new building will be open to the public from Tuesday 14 November.
