Maidenhead United: Ryan Upward rues slow start

The Magpies midfielder doesn't think the side ever got going in their defeat to Gateshead. Maidenhead lost at home for the first time since 28 August as they fell to a 3-0 defeat in the National League. "We didn't start well at all," Upward told BBC Radio Berkshire's Jack Winstanley. "They capitalised and got two goals. "It was a bit of a dull game to try and get ourselves going again. "We deserved nothing today, and we got what we deserved."
