Liz and Juliane have been friend since the early 1980s. Liz runs a green burial ground and Juliane runs a small holding. They share a love of contemporary and ancient crafts. Liz's father left Germany and came to England as a refugee during the rise of Hitler. Juliane was born and raised in Germany but has lived in England for 30 years. As friends they talk about 'Heimet' and what Germany means to them.
