Call for information about Surrey's 'secret' £1.5bn property deals
Breakfast on BBC Radio SurreyAvailable for over a year
Pressure is growing on Surrey county council leaders to reveal more about a £1.5bn plan to sell off council property. At least 32 vacant sites could be turned into housing. They include a former care home in Caterham, the Queen Mother's stables in Reigate and land next to St Paul's school in Tongham. Liberal Democrat and Green councillors described the joint venture plan as a "secret" deal. The council said it wanted to make the best use of its property and that there was sometimes a need for commercial sensitivity.
