Liquid attack woman's 'terrifying wait'

Police have described two men who threw a "noxious substance" in the face of a woman in a Bury St Edmunds pub as "dangerous". Det Insp Andrew Smethurst believes the woman was not the intended target of the attack at the Glad Abbot. He is appealing for witnesses to the "terrible attack" and says the victim faces a "terrifying wait" to learn if there is lasting damage to her eye.
