London Irish: Kennedy excited to get going in Premiership

Weekend Kick-Off

Available for over a year

The Exiles Director of Rugby Nick Kennedy is looking forward to being back in top flight. It is the first season that London Irish will have played in the Premiership since their relegation in the 2015-16 season. "We are really excited," Kennedy told BBC Radio Berkshire's Adam Williams. "Really excited to be back in the Premiership. "Always after a long pre-season you just want to get out there and play." And Kennedy says the new players who have joined the club have improved the squad. "They've been excellent so far, I'm really pleased with our new guys. "It's been frustrating at time, because we've had visa issues with a few players so some of them have missed five, six weeks of pre-season. "That has put us on the back foot a little bit with some of our new players."
