The chief prosecutor for southeast England has revealed she herself has been a victim of hate crime. Jaswant Narwal, who lives in Surrey, has told BBC Surrey that she and her mother, who wears traditional dress, have been told "to go home". She now wants others to have the confidence to report hate crime. Convictions in Surrey are up 11 percent.
