As his plane is shot down over Garmouth, Sergeant Rudi Gerlath of the German Luftwaffe bails out and parachutes, unnoticed, to earth. Wondering whether or not he should hand himself in, he wanders into the garden of Nicky’s bombed-out house where he spots three alluring doors.
