Foreign observers have expressed confidence in Kenya's electoral process, despite opposition claims of massive fraud. Opposition presidential candidate Raila Odinga has alleged that counting has been manipulated to give incumbent Uhuru Kenyatta victory. We hear from the BBC’s Anne Soy live in Nairobi. Southern Europe and the Middle East are experiencing a severe heatwave this summer which has resulted in a drought in Italy and forest fires in Portugal. In Baghdad, civil servants have been told to stay at home as temperatures peaked at over 50 degrees celsius. We hear from Chris Rapley, professor of Climate Science at University College London.
