Rebecca Root chooses Mary Oliver's poem Wild Geese for Front Row's Queer Icons series. Mary Oliver is America's best-selling poet, who has won the National Book Award and the Pulitzer Prize. Rebecca Root is an actress, who played the lead in the BBC2 sitcom Boy Meets Girl, and is currently filming a western dark comedy The Sisters Brothers with Jake Gyllenhaal and Joaquin Phoenix, directed by Jacques Audiard.
