Can drinking coffee make you live longer?

Jeremy Vine

Available for over a year

Dr Marc Gunter from the International Agency for Research on Cancer has studied the effect of coffee on thousands of people. He claims that enjoying three cups a day can extend your lifespan. It seems it's not the caffeine that's responsible, so whether your drink of choice is a triple shot espresso, a latte or even a decaf, you could end up living longer. Some experts disagree though, saying that other factors which go alongside coffee consumption, like wealth, could be having an impact.
