On this day - 6th July - in 1957 - 60 years ago - John Lennon first met Paul McCartney. It was at a Garden Fete at St Peter's Church in Woolton where John's skiffle band the Quarrymen were playing. Paul was 15, john just a few years older. We've dug out from the BBC archives Paul telling the BBC about that first meeting.
