Queen Victoria's terrace open for the first time

Julian Clegg

Available for over a year

The garden terrace where Queen Victoria sat and painted watercolours at Osborne, her Isle of Wight home is open to the public for the very first time. The opening of the terrace means visitors can see the whole of the former monarch's garden. It's the culmination of 6 months work costing £600,000. BBC Radio Solent's Neil Sackley has been to Osborne to see the restoration works.
