Good Morning UlsterAvailable for over a year
As people in west London, and across the country, still struggle to come to terms with the tragic events at Grenfell Tower, Ruth McQuillan-Wilson from Northern Ireland knows only too well the horror of being caught up in such a catastrophic fire. She and her family survived the 1973 Summerland disaster in the Isle of Man. Fifty people died when a huge indoor entertainment complex in Douglas went up in flames. She tells Good Morning Ulster how the Grenfell Tower tragedy triggered vivid memories of her own experience.
