"Britain on Film: Coast and Sea" is an online collection of over six hundred films from the year 1898 to 2000. BBC Radio Berkshire's Tony Blackburn spoke to Patrick Russell, Head of the Non-Fiction team at the BFI National Archive... "'Britain on Film' is an initiative when shows a map of the UK which allows people to explore any place that they're interested in and pull up a list of films in that area. "We've added six hundred new films which are all based around the theme of the coast and the sea. "These films have been collected over many years, and in some cases over many decades - they come to us from all sorts of different sources."
