The British prime minister, Theresa May, has presented her plans to retain the rights of European Union citizens in Britain after it leaves the EU. She said she expected the arrangement to be reciprocal. The BBC's Adam Fleming in Brussels tells us more. Estimates vary on how much the US has spent on trying to rebuild Afghanistan since it removed the Taliban from power back in 2001. US President Donald Trump claims it is $6 trillion. We hear about a case of wasted army uniforms from US Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction, John F. Sopko. Richard Dawkins, one of the world's most famous scientists, is also one of the leaders of what have been called the New Atheists - actively challenging religion, its teaching in schools and its place in society, most famously in his book The God Delusion. His new book is called Science in the Soul. We ask, as an avowed atheist, why does the title involve something he doesn't believe in - a soul? Roger Hearing is joined throughout by Alexander Kaufman, the Huff Post's business and environment reporter in New York and journalist and writer Madhavan Narayanan in Delhi.
