Former Sun editor: Tabloid press can't touch Corbyn

Former Sun editor David Yelland has told Mark Mardell that Jeremy Corbyn "is untouchable by those papers" because "he has gone through the worst possible kicking...that any Labour leader has ever gone through". Mr Yelland, who was the editor from 1998 to 2003, also said "it is very clear that Theresa May can't survive" with both the Daily Mail and The Sun going for her. When talking about the influence of social media he said: "It's now social media that sets the weather and that, if you were a Tory strategist, would be something that you would really worry about."
