Maidenhead United: McKenzie hungry to succeed

Weekend Kick-Off

Available for over a year

New Magpies striker Chinedu McKenzie is willing to work hard at his new club. The striker has joined from Romford ahead of Maidenhead's first National League season. "I wouldn't say there's pressure," he told BBC Radio Berkshire's Ady Williams. "Knowing that Maidenhead have recently won the league, a lot of their squad...are coming back. "I can't come in thinking it is going to be easy, I have to come in hungry to drive and fight for the position to actually be in the squad." And he also gave Maidenhead fans an idea about his background. "I'm a striker who's been playing in the Ryman North for a few seasons now. "Romford was my team who I stayed at for a full season and I just scored goals."
