Businesses Criticise Trump Climate Move

World Business Report

Available for over a year

Some big US firms have criticised President Trump's withdrawal from the Paris climate deal. Amy Davidsen from The Climate Group, which works with businesses to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, tells us what's behind the move. Also in the programme, the number of new jobs being created in the US has sharply slowed. Joan Williams is the author of 'White Working Class', and offers us her assessment of Donald Trump's presidency. Ahead of Britain's general election next week, we hear from Vince Cable, treasury spokesperson for the Liberal Democrats, about his party's economic policies. Plus we look back at all the week's big business stories with Jason Abbruzzese, business editor of Mashable in New York, and Elaine Moore from the Financial Times in London.
