Cathy Newman on abortion - "It was my duty to speak out"

Channel 4 news presenter Cathy Newman has told the Nolan Show she feels it was her duty to speak publicly about having an abortion. A complication in her second pregnancy meant her baby would not have survived to term because of a rare spinal condition. Cathy said she felt “women who have a public profile have a duty to speak out to help other women who don’t have that benefit”.
