A special cry for BBC Wiltshire

Graham Seaman

Available for over a year

Imagine a world without radio, perhaps the only way you'd get your local news headlines was from a man in a rather colourful outfit who stood in the street and shouted at the top of his voice while ringing a shiny bell. It's still an art that gets the attention of judges as Mike Tupman knows from personal experience because he's Marlborough's 'Town Crier' and winner of 'Wiltshire Town Crier of the Year 2016'. Mike's a retired special constable so swapped one uniform for another and produced this cry especially for the Lunchtime Show.
