Syria Set To Dominate G7 Foreign Ministers' Meeting In Italy
World Business ReportAvailable for over a year
As foreign ministers from the world's seven top economies meet in Lucca, Italy, tensions are rising between the group and Russia over Syria. We talk to Athanasios Vamvakidis from Bank of America Merrill Lynch about why the meeting is so important. The first freight train to transport goods from the UK to China leaves DP World London Gateway Port on Monday on a 7,500 mile rail journey. Andrew Grantham, from Railway Gazette International, tells us how this further extends China's revival of the ancient silk road trade route. We hear about innovative homegrown tech products in China from the BBC's Jennifer Pak in Shenzen. And Christie Viljoen, an economist at KPMG in Capetown, gives us his thoughts on why many foreign investors think President Zuma and his South African government colleagues are mismanaging the economy.
