The Nolan Show

Available for over a year

A pensioner has been tied up and beaten during a robbery at his home in County Down. Clifford Mooney, who's 69 years old, was returning from a prayer meeting late on Tuesday night when he was attacked by robbers at his home in Slieveshan Park in Kilkeel. He was hit on the head with a weapon and punched in the face, stomach and ribs before being tied up and gagged. Stephen spoke to the man's nephew, Adrian Eakins, and we also heard from Clifford as he lay in his hospital bed.
