BBC Berkshire's Ady Williams knew the former Sutton United reserve goalkeeper as a teenager, long before his pie eating exploits during their F.A Cup tie with Arsenal. "He was involved with Reading football club back in the day and we both left school at the same time. "He was a centre forward then a centre half and by sheer luck he became a goalkeeper. "He has always been a big lad but he was an athlete back in the day."
