How to buy a Beatles car... by mistake

Phil Kennedy

Available for over a year

The 37-year-old Porsche 928 which was bought for parts by a man unaware of its history, is to be auctioned. It was owned by late Beatle George Harrison when he lived in Henley-on-Thames and was sold to Raj Sedha in 2003. Raj said: "By the time we had arrived back from the house and started stripping the car down, my wife said 'stop, it belongs to George Harrison!' "I was just after the gearbox and never knew it was owned by him. "I've had calls from Netherlands and Spain all asking about the vehicle."
