From appearing in Star Wars to the stage of the Watermill in Newbury

Tony award winner Ian McDairmid has previously appeared in Star Wars, next month he heads to the Watermill Theatre in Newbury to star in Faust x2. Ian McDairmid: "I hope we've put a contemporary slant on this, the original poem on which the play is based goes on forever, and I wanted to get to the heart of it. "We wanted to take the audience through on a fast, humourous but slightly dangerous journey. "I wanted it to be an intimate story between these three characters. It's important that it's intimate and it's great to be in that atmospheric room."
