Joe Root "will be respected as a leader"

Former Australian cricketer Jason Gillespie has called Joe Root's announcement as England captain an "exciting" time for the sport. Gillespie worked with Joe Root for 5 years whilst he was coaching at Yorkshire County Cricket Club. Speaking to Hugh Ferris, Gillespie explains how the twenty six year old will be able to "find a good balance between being one of the lads and having that respect as leader".
