What is the biggest challenge facing the child sexual abuse inquiry?

Woman's Hour

Available for over a year

Professor Alexis Jay, Chair of the Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse, joins Jane Garvey to discuss the Inquiry, which has seen the three previous chairwomen step down. It’s a major undertaking, investigating the extent to which public bodies and other non-state institutions in England and Wales have failed to protect children from sexual abuse. She says, “My commitment is to deliver an interim report in March 2018 and we hope to have made substantial progress in completing the report by the end of 2020.”
