Darren Carroll was a member of the EDL. His nephew is Tommy Robinson, the former leader of the group. As time went on Darren felt that he couldn't belong to the organisation and decided to leave. He went on to build a relationship with members of the local Muslim community. But leaving the EDL wasn't that easy, as he explained to Yasmeen Khan on BBC 3CR.
