Vaughan: Kohli's stats are twice as good as Tendulkar's

Available for over a year

Former England captain says Indian skipper Virat Kohli is playing cricket from a 'different planet'. Vaughan compared Kohli, 28 to Indian legend Sachin Tendulkar and former West Indies captain Brian Lara. He said: "His last hundred was his 17th century, chasing which came in his 96th innings. Sachin Tendlukar was a great and the God of Indian cricket and his 17th century came in 232 innings. "I haven't seen many play to that standard, maybe Lara, Sachin obviously. But this kid, I think he's different." Vaughan added. Former England spinner Phil Tufnell said: "When I bowled against Lara he just hit it where the fielders are. Kohli's got that and it's very difficult as a captain to counteract." This clip is taken from 5 live Sport on Monday 16 January 2017.
