The Nigerian women helping support other female asylum seekers

Bridgitte Tetteh

Available for over a year

Bridgitte met the duo helping women know their rights when seeking a better life. Princess Adenike Lawson and Princess Chine Onyeukwu both escaped domestic violence to start new lives in the UK. "I had to seek refuge fast, I jumped on the plane with the children and I claimed asylum. It is not easy living your life, and going into an unknown foreign country. "Suddenly you are going into the unknown. "Tell your whole story, don't hold anything back. Put it out there, tell it no matter how uncomfortable you feel, and that could be very relevant to your case."
