Karen Brown steps down after 30 years at the top

Weekend Kick-Off

Available for over a year

The Team GB hockey coach says she has lots of rich memories from playing and coaching. Brown won bronze at the Barcelona 1992 Olympics, and helped coach the Team GB women to gold in Rio. "There are lots of highlights to be honest, obviously people focus on Rio, and it was an absolutely incredible part, but that was kind of like the end part. "More of the highlights for me are on the day to day front, some of the things that happened with the squad over the last ten to eleven years. "My first Olympics was eighty-eight, when the men won the gold medal and we came fourth, and it was book-ended by Rio."
