Trump & the media

World Have Your Say

Available for over a year

How do you want journalists to cover the presidency of Donald Trump? At his first news conference since his election, the President-elect refused to take a question from CNN reporter Jim Acosta. He also called Buzzfeed a "failing pile of garbage". This was in response to their reporting on the unverified documents making claims about Trump's activities in Russia. We discuss the behaviour of news organisations and of the President-elect. What do voters expect from both? Also, your experiences of women getting paid less than men for doing the same job. Natalie Portman revealed she was paid three times less than her male co-star Ashton Kutcher in 2011 romcom, No Strings Attached. "I failed as a negotiator because I gave up early", she says.
