Andrew Peach

Available for over a year

The Stroke Unit at Wexham Park Hospital closed on 31st Decemeber 2016. Adrian Hayter, Windsor and Maidenhead Clinical Commissioning Group Clinical Chair: "The changes have been coming over the last couple of years, quite a lot of our people who have strokes actually go to units outside of Wexham Park anyway. "At the moment if you have an acute stroke, they're the best place to go to. "We looked at the evidence about what's happening up and down the country...and it actually saves lives. "It's about getting better care, it's not really about saving money."
