A special exhibition at the West Berks Museum is celebrating the fashion and tradition. Dawn Sellick: "The whole museum is based around having stories behind the items. "In the early days unfortunately people didn't put all the nice details that we have nowadays. "Queen Victoria started the white wedding dress, and of course everyone copied Victoria. "They also didn't just have dresses for that occasion, they were bought, or made for the wedding - but then used subsequently."
