As well as being a star of comedy and drama, Victoria Wood also made many well-received documentaries - including a very personal account of her own struggle with her weight. Victoria Wood's Big Fat Documentary featured a trip to BBC Radio Lancashire in 2004 to be the studio guest on a "keep fit" phone-in, hosted by her friend and fellow comic Ted Robbins.
