Three weeks ago the first episode of World Hacks aired on BBC World Service. It is part of the network’s commitment to solutions-focused journalism and hopes to create a conversation around helping people across the globe with their problems. Rajan Datar speaks to editor Mukul Devichand, to find out how effective it has been so far and how listeners can get involved. Also, a listener from Jamaica is not happy about the coverage of the death of Fidel Castro, and Andrea from Germany wants to know what guidelines the BBC World Service has for using the term ‘alt-right.’
