Trending

Available for over a year

This week, a concerned citizen said she had uncovered thousands of Twitter profiles that were publishing and sharing child porn. The network was swift to shut the accounts down, but questions remain about disturbing material proliferating on the platform. Another investigation revealed that some Twitter users were posting graphic sexual conversations alongside non-pornographic images of children. Also in the programme, a website that says it aims to name and shame left-wing teachers has been launched in the US. Professor Watchlist was started by a right-wing campaign group that brushed off comparisons to McCarthyism. Some academics are fighting back with humour and using social media to make fun of the project. Presented by Catrin Nye Image caption: Open laptop / Image credit: Shutterstock
