In 2022 the BBC World Service will be 100 years old, and by that time the aim is to reach 500m people around the world. Last year the UK Government invested £289m to help it meet this target and as such, in its latest announcement, it has revealed it will be broadcasting into North Korea. Francesca Unsworth, director of the BBC World Service Group tells Rajan Datar about their decision to do this and goes into some detail on other aspects of the expansion. Also, listeners have been getting in touch to let us know what they thought of the US Election coverage and opinion is as divided as the vote itself.
