This year there were a record number of entries from 112 countries to the BBC’s 25th International Radio Playwriting Competition. Presenter Rajan Datar went along to meet the winners - Pericles Silveira from Brazil and Jo-anne Gutknecht from Canada. Executive producer, Marion Nancarrow underlines the importance of the competition while studio manager Ross Burman gave him an exclusive peek behind the scenes of the recording room where the winning radio dramas are brought to life. Also, we bring you a sneak preview of one of the winning plays ahead of its broadcast in January.
