The BBC Pashto Facebook page has become one of the most popular in Afghanistan. The country only has 2.6 million Facebook users yet the BBC page has reached the 2 million followers mark. BBC Pashto Editor, Ismail Miakhail explains to Rajan why it has generated so much interest, also laying out the upsurge of users in Pakistan. One user from Kabul says the BBC Pashto Facebook page actively tries to engage women, a point which has made her a dedicated follower. And, there is mixed opinion about a recent episode of The Food Chain– Should We All Become Vegans? Both long term vegans and meat eaters have been in touch to give their opinion.
